The Challenge

A national bank with a large footprint needed to create hyperlocal PR campaigns across the Carolinas. This included proactively pitching story ideas and securing thought leadership opportunities for market leaders across a variety of media platforms in addition to regular news sharing and trend pitching.

The Approach

I developed a comprehensive media pitching campaign that extended across business publications in the Carolinas. I also assisted with projects that involved overseeing campaigns encompassing written content, ranging from web stories to videos and social media shorts—resulting in increased share of voice and reach across a range of media outlets and communications channels.

The Results

  • Secured an average of 4-5 features per quarter during the first year of partnership in addition to securing ongoing coverage around company news and milestones. 

  • Landed coverage in a range of media outlets, from local and regional print and digital outlets to radio spots, podcasts and trade publications.

  • Oversaw a content campaign that resulted in a published story and video for the bank’s national website.
